Common Questions About Business Plans – Can I Copy Someone Else’s?

This is not recommended – you do not want to end up someone else’s enterprise which is what will happen if you are not working off your own vision.

What is helpful is to have a couple of business plans from other similar organisations alongside of you when you are writing your own. Sometimes it is really helpful to see what someone else in a similar position to you wrote for a particular section, or how they described a particular service. It will save you from getting stuck.

This is why we added in the Sample Business Plan function in Business Plan Writer. Whilst you are writing your text, and if you get stuck you can quickly flick through the sample business plans to get some inspiration.

If you are using a different template you can always ask other organisations that you know for a copy of their business plan or look on the internet and download some examples.
